How the piece came about
There's a reason us folk from up North are known as being "strong & northern". I wanted to create a stand-out piece which captures the feel of industry, grit, glowing-heat and hard work, which epitomises so many professions northern folk have and still do work in. These industries and skilled people helped build the City of Sheffield and put it on the map, worldwide!
