Hello! I’m Alan, a Sheffield-born artist with a lifelong love of drawing, people and the places that mean something to us. I set up Alan Pennington Art in 2007, creating colourful, characterful artwork inspired by Sheffield, the Peak District, Yorkshire and plenty of memories along the way. From much-loved landmarks and legendary nights out to quiet moments between people, I love creating pictures that make someone stop, smile and say, “I remember that!” Nearly 20 years later, that reaction still gives me the same buzz.
